Moths in the far east - er... Norfolk

I spent a few days in Norfolk with a friend of mine, a keen birder, who I've introduced to mothing. Whilst there I saw a few interesting moths, especially Tree Lichen Beauty and a Yellow-legged Clearwing.

Sorry it's not Carms, but thought you might be interested.

  1. Nice to see that you`re having `moth fun` Adam. Yellow-legged clearwing has actually been recorded (early 1990s) in Stradey Woods, Llanelli. However, the confirmatory photo is nowhere as good as yours!

  2. Thanks Ian, I am looking into buying a lure for local clear wings for next year.
