Pammene argyrana at Cnwc


I tapped this unfamiliar Tortricid out of an oak by the Cnwc field this evening. It turned out to be Pammene argyrana: an early season, diurnal species whose larvae feed in oak galls. This is the first county record of a species that is reasonably common in England but is scarce in Wales.
