Lime Hawk-moth
Whilst walking back from the co-op in Burry Port this morning, I was surprised to find a Lime Hawk-moth. Ian's right, I wished I had a container but managed to cup it gently and take it home for a photograph.
A brilliant find Adam - 10/10! The only problem would have been that the container would have to really big for a hawk-moth! I was referring to containers for those small, but interesting, micros that may turn up on windows etc from time to time. Whatever, the cupped hands did n`t harm your specimen - it`s in `tip-top` shape. I bet your eyes popped out when you saw a lime hawk-moth! They`ve only been known from Carms since the early 2000s.

I was astonished! I nearly trod on it.
