Cnwc light

The Cnwc porch light produced 45 moth species on the warm night of 25th May - at long last the wind has turned SW, accompanied by a bit of rain. Of vague interest were Larch Pug (photo), Ash Pug, Marbled Brown, Treble-Bar, Brown Rustic, Purple Bar and Fox Moth (photo). I tried 3 sites between Llandovery and Brechfa for Pachyrhabda yesterday but didn’t find any.

  1. That`s a nice score for a porch light, Sam!
Larch pug is one of my target moths for this year (I`ve got a small stand of larch nearby) so, fingers crossed.
I note - with typical jealously - those two upland goodies that you very recently had in vc35! Nice finds.
