A moth trap night...

I have n`t light-trapped for some time but as the predicted night-time temperatures were n`t too bad last night (14/5) and there was supposed to be a little cloud cover, out went the garden traps. They were not exactly brimming with moths this morning, but there was a half-decent selection of c 20 species. Another rather dapper alder kitten perhaps reflects the proximity of woodland as did a smart-looking Eulia ministrana.
The sunny spell is coming to an end and the nights are becoming cloudier, so it soon may be worth trapping again; check your weather forecasts.
