Help Please

I wonder if anyone can suggest a name for this rather nondescript brown micro which I found on the wall of the bungalow this afternoon.



The long palps suggest that it's a Gelechiid.  Flat-winged, FW length 7-8mm, possibly a Bryotropha sp.?  With no obvious distinctive features it may need gen.det. to be sure.  Ouch!

  1. Looks like Bryotropha terrella. I'll stick my neck out and say safe to record it as that without dissection.

  2. Thank you George, you're a star. Although it seemed a bit nondescript I felt confident that someone who had seen the species before would recognise it. Glad that dissection's not needed because I let it go!
