Last Night at Pwll....

A quick post - last night (1/6) saw fair numbers (c 30 spp.) coming to two traps (one MV, one mains actinic). At the bottom of both traps were diamond-back moths and a total of five of this migrant micro were caught; otherwise just an array of seasonal moths - I need to get out trapping at different sites with different habitats!
Two common lutestrings constituted only the second time that I`ve had this species here at Pwll.

                                                        Above: common lutestring.
                                                                     Above: miller.
                                                               Above: sandy carpet.

I`ve still got several micros to look at - will do so when I get an opportunity.
