The latest Newsletter....
The latest Spring 2016 Carmarthenshire Moth & Butterfly Group Newsletter has now appeared and has been emailed to local recorders. It can also be accessed on the right-hand side of this page.
I`m looking forward to the 2016 season!
Thanks all. I always check what adjacent counties catch, Rosemary...there`s certain Pembs moths (eg black-banded) which I`m sure we`ve got on the Carms cliffs just east of Amroth. Incidentally, the Watsonian - ie biological county for recording - differs to that of the modern Pembs/Carms administrative county boundary. Carms (in terms of recording) starts immediately E of the Amroth shingle beach rather than just W of Telpyn Pt.
Great job, as always, by you and Sam - many thanks.
ReplyDeleteMakes interesting reading for a next-door moth-er in Pembs!
ReplyDeleteBig thanks to you and Sam - always makes interesting reading. I hope to be a bit more active in Carms this year as opposed to in G*******n...
