Llansteffan moths
I trapped last night because of all the excitement and migrant activity, in the hope I would catch something good as well, I have been having withdrawal symptoms.
Only two moths in the trap and they turned up before 9pm.
My first December moth, lucky I checked the trap as he escaped onto the wall where I could pot him up!
This next one I don't know, can't find it in my books, help as always please!
Your unknown moth looks like a worn Cornifrons ulceratalis, Mel! You`ve scored! We`d best await confirmation from others.
ReplyDeleteSanta does exist then!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Conifrons to me - another amazing record. Very envious!
