We done good..... we say in Wales. The MV trap at Cwmllwyd only attracted 28 moths of 17 species last night, but 6 of them were FFY: November Moth ag. x 3, Red Line Quaker x 3, Yellow-line Quaker x 4, Flounced Chestnut, Merveille du Jour and Caloptilia stigmatella.

 Merveille du Jour

Among the other species found were:

 Red-green Carpet

and its cousin: Autumn Green Carpet x 2.

  1. Merveille du Jour is on my moth wish list, well done Steve

  2. A `Merv` is always nice to see - I`ve not had one yet this season. I trapped on Friday night and had a `good` migrant - will blog when I get a chance.

  3. I forgot to say....autumn green carpet is even better! One of your specialities Steve!
