Maenol Welcomes Migrant
A combination of the actinic porch light and plenty of Nicotiana blossom at the front of the bungalow attracted a very welcome visitor last night:
Resting at 6.08am
Preparing for take-off at 6.29am
I also used an actinic trap at the back which, in spite of heavy rain during the night, contained a few moths this morning. Nothing unusual, but a couple of species which I didn't see on NMNs 1 & 2, namely Autumnal Rustic and a very nice Frosted Orange, both FFYs.
