Cilycwm and Llansadwrn

Put the trap out here last night and also at Llansadwrn school, where I returned today. From Cilycwm I got 44 species plus some that got away and some micros to be ID'd in the fridge. Notably for me was four first records of coxcomb prominent, poplar grey, bee moth and Green silver-lines,

The 17 pupils of llansadwrn scholl enjioyed their session and then spent the morming drawing and painting the moths they saw, which included a first for me - alder moth. As ever a full species list when they are loads of little hands in the trap being helpful is didfficult but there was a good variety.
