Ffos Las butterflies
Having spent the first week of the school Easter holidays away in the cold, wet and windy north of Wales, it was lovely to return to the sun and warmth of the south and to regularly see some butterflies again. I am now seeing up to 6 peacocks, 2 small tortoiseshells and 2 brimstone on my circular walks round Ffos Las, but no day flying moths yet.
1 Brimstone seen on 5th and 6th April and 2 on the 9th when the above photo was taken.
This fox moth caterpillar was taken at the NBGoW on 8th April
