Winter 2014 Newsletter.

Grateful thanks are due to Ian (IKM) for his efforts in producing this informative and entertaining document. Terrific effort, well done; very much appreciated.

Just one minor criticism: far too many mentions of some lucky Old Fool up on the Black Mountain (SN705202) - he's not the Messiah, you know; he's just a very naughty boy (VNB)!

Steve Clarke (SC).

  1. Thanks Steve. The so-called `Old Fool` (SC) actually has made some cracking records in 2014...so `Wise Old Man` is more appropriate....

  2. By the way, in case you're wondering what's happened to my blogs, Ian: I haven't given up up trapping, yet - I've just given up catching anything!

  3. Ian's write-up was very entertaining, and a good record of a really excellent year. I've lost count of how many new Micros were caught, plus the Cream-bordered Green-Pea (was that the only new Macro?). I hope there might be one more southerly push of migrants...
