It isn't over yet...

There's a slight break in the weather, the wind is in the south-east and it isn't too cold.  So far (9pm) my MV has attracted one moth.  It's a Rusty-dot Pearl, so I'm at least slightly chuffed.  I've got to hope that the next 9 hours of darkness will produce something else!

Final tally by 6am - 2 Rusty-dot Pearl, 1 December Moth and 1 Epirrita sp.  Not great, but not a complete failure...

  1. Good show, Sam. Weather's looking o.k. for Friday, too - I'll give it a go I think.

  2. I'm now up to 1 December Moth, 1 November agg, 1 Rusty-dot Pearl but it's raining...

  3. December Moth is my last target for the year - fingers crossed!

  4. I too had my garden actinic out last night with meagre results - just five individuals: silver y, rusty-dot pearl (x2), November moth agg. and a feathered thorn.
