Set the trap last night (Saturday)and had 9 species this morning with Merveille du jour again being the only species with more than one individual. One of them had a particularly marked black band (see below), in comparison with examples without a black central band discussed on the Ceredigion moth blog recently.
The other moths caught were silver Y, November agg., common marbled carpet, small fan-footed wave, green-brindled crescent, red-line quaker, chestnut and what I believe is a turnip moth as opposed to the pearly underwing I thought initially? Confirmation required please...
