Micro Moth Identification Course at Cilgerran
I would like to put on record my gratitude to our tutor, Dave Grundy, and to Liz Snell, the organiser, for yesterday's excellent course. It was not only enjoyable but also very instructive, and I'm sure that the structured approach to identification that Dave teaches will be extremely helpful when it comes to tackling the hoards of micros that will arrive in our traps from now on, as will the advice he gave on where to obtain further information to guide us. It also provided a rare opportunity for us Carms mothers to meet counterparts from adjoining counties, some of whose names were familiar from visiting their blogsites. There were some interesting moths on view, too, I may not get another opportunity to see a Black Banded!
