Cwmllwyd 13 August 2014

A modest 152 moths of 36 species last night, with (perhaps) pride of place going to Dark Sword-grass; the first since 2009.


White-spotted Pug was a first for the site and for me, although it's said to be common. Other firsts for the year were Canary-shouldered Thorn, Bordered Beauty, Rosy Rustic and Flounced Rustic, while this pretty Sallow Kitten attempted to carry me off, as you can see below.
