Two micros.

You all know how dodgy my micro ID skills are, so I would appreciate help with today's two day-flyers.

Pseudargyrotoza conawanga, I think.

Two shots of Orthotaenia undulana?

Thanks indeed if you can help!

  1. The conwagana is correct but the pale bar across the central dark band of the other one indicates lacunana.

  2. Once again, many thanks Sam. I didn't consider Celypha lacunana as the illustration in Sterling, Parsons and Lewington is nothing like the moth shown above. When you pointed me in the right direction, however, I checked UK Moths and found that their photos are a very good match. So problem solved.
