Garden Moths.....in a very classy style!

Upon hearing of my capture of thrift clearwings last week (as well as various botanical news), Arthur Chater sent me the marvellous photo below of thrift clearwings that he photographed in his seaside Aberystwyth garden back in 2006. It is of a mating pair and they were probably attracted to the thrift (and thyme flowers) in his garden. A nice moth for a garden!
