A Pluming Good Afternoon!

Yes, it was very nice yesterday afternoon to meet at last some of the folk with whom I've been corresponding regularly for the past three years or so!  Many thanks are due to Sam for arranging the meeting. It seemed most fitting that, a bit later on, a moth should join me in the kitchen whilst I was preparing food and settle on a cupboard close by.  It must have been hungry! Judging from the size, shape and time of year I'm assuming that it's probably a Common Plume (Emmelina monodactyla) but I'd be grateful for advice on that score.

  1. I agree that looks like Emmelina. Thanks for coming to the meeting.

No moths here yesterday, but I did disturb two Heralds in our barn this afternoon.
