Put out the trap at home last night (Tyrwaun, Pwll 22.9.13) and there was some evidence of immigration, with 14 silver y`s, 5 dark sword grasses and one - presumably migratory - turnip moth (see photo below). Two harlequin ladybirds, of different colouration and patterning, were in the trap
A solitary l-album wainscot, one of the established population on the Carmarthenshire coast, was also caught and a photo of this individual appears below.
That's clearly a Glamorgan L-album - it will be heading back to Whiteford tonight ;-)
