A tiny moth fluttered past me as I walked into the garden this afternoon. I managed to catch it gently with my hands and then pot it. It turned out to be Mompha langiella - a relatively dull member of the genus, with shiny greyish wings and two distinctive white areas on each wing, but new to Cnwc and with very few Carms records. It's always good to have a specimen tube to hand!
