autumn arrives in Carmel

A small catch of 28 species last night. First for year were several really fresh autumnal rustics with lovely subtle pink tones, four centre-barred sallow and a sallow. Also a latticed heath and lesser swallow prominent which don't appear in the trap very often.

  1. Mat.....have a go trapping on the heathery gritstone ridge only 2 minutes from your house.....there could well be good moths there - you won`t regret it!
