Carmel

40 species last night.  First for year included lesser yellow underwing, white-spotted pug, first pebble hook-tip since 2008.  I'm fairly certain this is a canary-shouldered thorn but would welcome other opinions (no kink on outer cross line; has mark between crosslines)

  1. Yes, that's Canary-shouldered. The thorax is very bright compared with the wings, whereas thorax and wings are more unicolorous in August & September.
