Snippets from Tyrwaun, Pwll

Put out just one actinic at home last night. Still fair numbers of moths in the trap, which included a poplar grey, coronets, a sandy carpet and the two species shown below - a pinion-streaked snout and an Archer`s dart. Sorry about the latter photo showing the head somewhat out-of-focus, but I`ve just released the moth! The nice wing markings are shown though. Was planning to go out trapping somewhere tonight, but the forecast heavy rain now means that I`ll have an easy night in instead!
