Mini Micro

I don't normally manage to deal with such tiny species (excuses: failing eyesight, camera macro limitations) but this one caught my eye on account of the pale dorsal patch and distinctive shape.  I have tentatively identified it as Pseudargyrotoza conwagana.

  1. Your tentative ID is correct - well done! Especially as it's a very worn specimen.

  2. Thanks Sam. I look forward to the opportunity of photographing one in full plumage - providing that I can get it in focus!
